Usually a few minutes, sometimes up to 24 hours. Templates with clear wording, realistic examples and an opt-out button are approved fastest.
Why is this a utility template?
It confirms or updates something the customer asked for (like an order, booking or payment), with no promotional content. Utility messages cost less than marketing ones and are free inside an open 24-hour conversation.
Who can I send WhatsApp marketing messages to?
Only people who agreed to receive WhatsApp messages from your business. Email consent does not count. Every marketing message should let people opt out, for example with a “Stop promotions” button.
